I am writing critiques about African American authors and poets as well as a composer, who have written works that have made social change, namely Ralph Ellison, Zora Neale Hurston, James Baldwin, Terence Blanchard, as well as Ann Petry and Rita Dove. I also write about Viet Thanh Nguyen, a Vietnamese American novelist’s novel The Sympathizer.

Bio
Maryann P.DiEdwardo is author and editor, Adjunct Professor in Science Writing and Global Literature. Her recent book Hermeneutics Metacognition and Writing (2020) is about the importance of the critique in science writing. She is editor and contributor. Maryann is the editor and contributor of the book entitled, American Women Writers, Poetics, and the Nature of Gender Study published in 2016 by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Dr. Maryann P. DiEdwardo, is a published author of more than 50 books and articles. Her recent book titled Spatializing Social Justice was published inn2019. Her speciality is Metacognition and Case Study Research. Dr.Maryann DiEdwardo is a Drazek Award Winner at UMGC , won Two Professional Achievement Awards UMGC, was granted two awards from the College English Association: Award Winner Adjunct Scholarship and Professional Achievement Award, and was honored with the Northampton Community College Project Aware Service Award
