Spatializing Social Justice: Literary Critiques by Maryann P DiEdwardo

Literary Criticism

In Spatializing Social Justice: Literary Critiques, Maryann P. DiEdwardo uses seven literary critiques and seven reflections to share her newest research about the healing power of literature. She argues that literacy is the lifelong intellectual process of gaining meaning from a critical interpretation of written or printed text. Literary critiques explore the writer’s mind for symbolism hidden within the words, and writers of literary critiques listen to their own voices first. In this book, DiEdwardo touches upon different types of writing and writers who aim to explore the healing process through words.

Maryann P. DiEdwardo, Adjunct, teaches research writing for the graduate school of Computer science and engineering at Lehigh and is author of more than fifty books and articles on the international market and recipient of two Professional Achievement Awards at University of Maryland University College and the UMUC Stanley J. Drazek Teaching Excellence Award. She also received the 2018 Professional Achievement Award from College English Association.
